The sixth edition of the Valencia Cup Girls already has its dates marked on the calendar. The international women's youth soccer tournament, organized by the Sportea Association with the support of the Valencia City Council, the Valencia Provincial Council, and the Comunitat de l'Esport of the Department of Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as Teika with the traditional match of the Referentes, will take place between April 2 and 5, 2026. Registration will soon open through the official website.

Last Easter, more than seven hundred players from teams representing five countries already registered their participation on the occasion of the fifth edition. In any case, this sporting event sets itself challenges such as increasing the presence of teams both from Spain and from around the world. Obviously, teams from the Valencian Community must have special importance, feeling this tournament as their own.

In this sense, it is a sporting and social event that works to promote the visibility of women's sports through the lens of football, embracing fundamental values such as camaraderie, fair play, education, healthy competition, and personal experiences within this intercultural framework.

As with every edition, the city and province of Valencia are simultaneously promoted from a sporting, tourism, and cultural perspective. "We strive to build a major international women's grassroots football tournament with each edition, which directly benefits the city and the metropolitan area, not only because the region is known, but also because the teams and their supporters who come from different parts of Spain and abroad stay in hotels, enjoy the city, and build interpersonal relationships for the present and future," says tournament director Fernando Brotons.
